Among other gems on the list was the Robert Llewellyn Wright House in Bethesda, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

On Saturday, May 7, 2022, the Chapter installed two new members and a new slate of officers for the 2022-2024 term. The new Regent and members of her Executive Board were installed by the Past Regent, a Chapter member for over 50 years.

The group painted agility jumps used to train service dogs and a storage facility. WCC serves veterans through an innovative training program that includes veterans in the training of service dogs for other veterans.

On Saturday, April 16, 2022, 26 Chapter members and guests traveled to George Washington's Mount Vernon to participate in a wreath-laying ceremony conducted by Regent Amy Arnold Gumaer at Washington's Tomb.

The group also enjoyed a tour of the Mansion and lunch at the Mount Vernon Inn. It was a privilege for our Chapter to honor George Washington's service to our country as Father of our nation and First President of the United States of America.

On Saturday, March 12, 2022, Chevy Chase Chapter had its Spring Luncheon at Columbia Country Club.  Mr. John Rodenhausen, Maryland Director of Major Giving at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF), was our featured speaker and provided a fascinating overview of the health of the Chesapeake Bay.
